We will meet at the beach area across from the McDonald’s.

Bring your own snacks, beach toys, chairs and towels and join the NCC community for a fun afternoon in the sun!

Join us for a fun and exciting Hawaiian themed youth Luau filled with food, games, music, and the option to enjoy some pool time! The event will take place on Sunday, June 14th from 3:00–5:30 PM at the Largusa’s home in Castro Valley. Come dressed in your best Hawaiian attire, and get ready to connect, have fun, and enjoy a vibrant time together!

We’re so excited for our 5th annual Freedom Walk! This is a family-friendly community event where participants walk together in solidarity to raise awareness and take a public stand against exploitation.

This year’s Freedom Walk is directly connected to the Love Never Fails’ outreach mission on the ground. They are mobilizing volunteers and resources to engage vulnerable communities and connect individuals to support and services. This family-friendly event is a public stand against exploitation.

The Rally
Your ticket provides you with entrance to a family-friendly pep rally, a Freedom Walk T-Shirt, entrance into a raffle (adult ticket only), and lunch.

The Walk
Following our pep rally at Fremont High School, we invite you to walk in solidarity with us to International Blvd. You'll witness why we walk and experience a powerful sense of unity and support as we stand together against this injustice.

What to Bring
Please wear comfortable outdoor attire! Remember to wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated!

Grab your tickets at an early bird rate of $25 per adult and $5 per kids ticket! Price will increase on June 1st.

About Love Never Fails

Love Never Fails empowers all people to express and experience their best sense of humanity. We do this by restoring, educating, and protecting survivors of human trafficking and their community.

In Oakland, human trafficking remains a serious and visible issue, particularly along corridors like International Boulevard, where exploitation has persisted for years. Many victims are trapped by fear, poverty, immigration challenges, or coercion, making outreach efforts critical to reaching those who are often unseen and underserved.

• Summer Fun Bags for Every Child – We’re celebrating the start of summer in Kids Ministry by sending every child home with a special summer goody bag! Each child will receive a few fun summer goodies like bubbles, sidewalk chalk, sunglasses, stickers, and other surprises, along with simple family devotional and activity ideas to enjoy together throughout the summer.

• Ice Cream Floats after the 11:00am service

• Lunch after the 12:30pm service

It's a great Sunday to bring someone with you and help them experience the love of Jesus and the community of our church.

Join us during one of our services on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 10th) as we honor our moms and the women who have shaped our lives!

We will have special gifts for each of these special ladies and cupcakes for everyone!

We’re also excited to offer Child Dedications during our services on May 10th! Whether you have a new baby or older kids, this is a special opportunity for families to publicly commit to raising their children to know and follow Jesus, while inviting our church community to support and pray for them.

Child Dedications are open to all New City Church families. We would love for you to participate!

SENT is a 90-minute workshop designed to help you embrace your role in disciple-making right here at New City. We’ll talk about what it actually means to help someone move forward with God — practically, relationally, and intentionally.

We’ll Focus On:

• The Call — understanding why every believer is sent

• The Context — making disciples in and through the local church

• The Practice — practical ways to help someone take their next step

No pressure. No performance. Just clarity, courage, and a vision for multiplying what God is doing among us.

Unstuck is a 90-minute workshop designed to help you take a clear next step. We’ll talk honestly about why we get stuck, what growth with God actually looks like, and how to move forward — whether you’re just starting out or starting again.

Get ready for an afternoon of fun, laughs, and friendly competition! Join us for our Youth Mini Golf Outing—an awesome chance for our middle and high school students to hang out, connect, and enjoy a laid-back evening together. Whether you're a mini golf pro or just in it for the good times, this is the perfect way to invite friends and make some great memories. Don’t miss it!

$10 per kid attending! It will be collected during the registration process :)

We’re excited for another opportunity to support our local schools! This time, we’ll be giving the teachers’ lounge at Brookfield Elementary School in Oakland a much-needed makeover. Help us transform the space into a welcoming, comfortable retreat where teachers feel appreciated and cared for.
