Join Us as We Love Oakland!

Each year, New City Church partners with our local schools to bless students, families, and teachers as they prepare for a new school year. Through our annual Love Oakland Back-to-School Fest, we'll provide free backpacks and school supplies, offer fun activities for families, and serve our school community with the love of Jesus.

As part of our ongoing partnership with local schools, volunteers will also help refresh and prepare classrooms for teachers before students return to school. It's a practical way to encourage and support the educators who invest in our community every day.

How You Can Get Involved

Volunteer

Whether you have an hour or can serve throughout the day, we'd love for you to join us! Volunteer to help with event setup and cleanup, welcome families, distribute backpacks and school supplies, lead activities, provide hospitality, and assist with preparing classrooms for teachers. Volunteer options include:

• Classroom Help @ 8:45am-12:00pm

• Festival Help @ 10:00am-2:00pm

Donate

Help provide backpacks and school supplies for local students by purchasing items from our Amazon/Walmart wish list or participating in our Sunday Pull-a-Tag campaign.

Every donation helps equip a student for a successful school year!
